16 Weeks and the Ears have Arrived!
Jack decided to show us her ears today. I would be happy with any type of ears, but if she ends up prick ear she will be so cute! This week we went to our first Obedience class taught by my friend Donna. Jack learned to heel, and shake her left paw and high five her right paw. They aren't perfect, but she knew what I wanted. We can make it look better with time.
We went to a herding trial with last weekend so she was around a lot of dogs and people. She loves them all. Even in the class there were about six other dogs and she is easy going and not interested in them. She comes whenever I call her if she is in the yard with the other dogs. I've even left her for a short time in the yard...worried the whole time I was gone. LOL
Final shots were this week. I decided to wait for a few weeks to get her microchiped. My vet likes to give a forth parvo shot in three weeks so we will do that then. Now I get to take her out to public places and not worry. Life is good with this pup!

14 Weeks and Going Strong!
Poor Jack was sent to sheepcamp with our other three border collies for 11 days while we were in Hawaii. I completely trust these friends and I had no worries about her care. She came back and looked so much taller. Her legs took a growth spurt while we were gone and her feet are huge!
It took a few days to get her back to our schedule of eating and sleeping, but its back to where I need it. I am letting her spend more time with the big dogs, but I am monitoring it. She plays really well with all of them. I caught the oldest (six yrs) was even seen laying on her back letting Jack jump and play with her.
She prefers to sleep in her kenneled area comprised of and X-pen on the tile with her crate and tons of toys. I feed her in there most times and she thats where she goes to get her time outs. I up'ed her food to try to keep up with her growth. She is eating 1 cup and 1/2 - 3/4 everyday. I am not big on treats, but when I did try some to train with her system did not like it. I now use her kibble to train and it works really well.
We are taking her down to the sheep to watch the other dogs with their herding lessons on Friday, we might get in a baby goat for her to see...
